APROC 2018 MPC
February 6, 2018 @ 8:00 am - February 8, 2018 @ 12:00 pm
This is the main planning conference for the APROC 2018 in The Netherlands.
The APROC will be conducted in two phases: A short academics phase that aims to be force integration training to provide the necessary knowledge about each other procedures, capabilities and limitation as well as provide the information regarding scenario and air- and ground-space where the course will be conducted. Following that, a flying phase will be conducted where the participants plan, brief, execute and debrief recovery missions in a crawl, walk, run approach.
The primary aim of the course is to educate and train:
1 – Crews that have little or no experience in planning and conducting complex missions based on a PR scenario recovering both “trained” or “untrained” military personnel as well as civilians. Complex as in multinational, multi-ship, dissimilar type aircraft;
2 – Experienced pilots to become Rescue Mission Commander (RMC) through learning to lead the planning and execution of complex missions and brief and de-brief the mission to the task-force and commander;
3 – Extraction Forcess (EFs) leadership to fully participate in the planning of complex missions based on a PR scenario.
A secondary aim of the course is to provide a training opportunity for:
4 – Airborne Early Warning (AEW) crews to become proficient as Airbourne Mission Coordinator (AMC);
5 – Rescue Escort (RESCORT) crews to act as proficient On Scene Commander (OSC);
6 – EFs to apply standards to recover ISOPs and provide medical care to them as required;
